Mr. Hammer was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, and attended Jesuit High School. While attending law school at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California, he was the recipient of various Witkin and CALI awards, and was named to the Dean’s list. After completing law school, he returned to Tampa to pursue his legal career. He joined Sponsler, Bennett, Jacobs & Adams, P.A. in 2004, where he has spent his entire legal career representing carriers and employers in the area of workers’ compensation defense litigation. When he is not at work, Mr. Hammer enjoys spending time with his wife, Catherine, and trying to keep up with his one-year old son.
