Samantha Smith is a graduate of Florida State University, cum laude and Fordham University School of Law in New York, New York. While at Fordham, she was the Business Editor for the Intellectual Property Law Journal and a member of Fordham Law Women. Upon graduation, she served as an Assistant State Attorney for two years in Orlando, Florida prosecuting a variety of felony cases. She currently represents insurance carriers in the area of worker’s compensation defense litigation. She is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to the Middle District of the United States District Court in Orlando, Florida.

Samantha has jury trial experience in county and circuit court as a prosecutor for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.
Samantha has represented both claimants and insurance carriers during hearings before Judges of Compensation Claims in Florida.

Samantha actively participates in firm-sponsored presentations to employers and insurance carriers on a wide variety of issues affecting her practice area.
