Zach Glaser received his bachelor of science degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland, College Park and his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Stetson University College of Law, cum laude. While at the University of Maryland he was a Dean’s list student and a Scholar-Athlete while playing for the University of Maryland Football Team. During law school, Mr. Glaser received book awards for the highest grade in his section in Secured Transactions, Delaware’s Influence on Corporate law and International Sales and Arbitration. In recognition of his academic performance, Stetson's faculty nominated him to the National Dean's List 2006-2007, All American Scholars, and Who's Who Among Students in American Universities. As a member of Stetson’s Moot Court Board Mr. Glaser won awards for both his writing and oral advocacy while competing in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration competition in Vienna, Austria, the second largest moot court competition in the world. Additionally, while in law school, he served as the sole legal intern to the general counsel of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mr. Glaser currently practices in the areas of commercial litigation, labor and employment defense, intellectual property, real estate and business transactional law.

Practice Focus:

Commercial Litigation: breach of contract actions, breach of non-competition agreements, assists in representation of businesses in complex commercial litigation.

Business Transactions: various corporate transactions for public and private companies, corporate and business formation transactions, contract drafting and negotiations.

Intellectual Property: registration and maintenance, including policing, of federal and state trademarks and copyrights, litigation before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Labor and Employment Defense: litigation and counseling to employers regarding discrimination, wrongful termination, non-competition and non-solicitation and other employment and benefit matters.

Real Estate: transactional counseling on real estate transactions, assists in representation of buyers and sellers in real estate litigation.

Representive Engagements:

Assisted with pre-trial motions, memoranda and trial preparation in several litigation matters that went to trial.

Counsel to Fortune 500 companies on all trademark and copyright matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Negotiated public relations and website hosting transactions with Multi-billion dollar Entertainment Corporation and major Hollywood studio.

Counsel to several corporate executives regarding negotiations of seperation agreements, severance packages, estate planning and new executive employment contracts.

Assisted in the successful defense of several employment matters and discrimination charges in state, federal and governmental proceedings.

Successfully litigated an action to recover a client's domain name before the World Intellectual Property Organization.

Counseled and successfully negotiated corporate transactions on behalf of both buyers and sellers of several business entities.
